How much do you bless or curse your marriage with your choice of words? If I’m honest, as someone who struggles with a perfectionist mentality, I face many moments of regret about how I perceive the status of my marriage.
Today I wanted to talk about the vision of your marriage. It may seem like an odd topic because most often we have visions about our careers, rather than our marriage. Although it’s not a common topic, it’s one I encourage you and your spouse to start exploring. I must be honest, Kevin and I just recently began to truly define what we believe is our vision for our marriage. We began to pray for clarity and purpose and we came up with a few steps that helped us cultivate the idea of our purpose.
On February 25, 2012, I married my best friend Kevin in front of our closes family and friends in Orlando FL. Shortly after we married and moved to the Midwest and our lives began to change in a significant way. We found ourselves alone and unaware of the genuine strength marriage required especially when difficult moments occurred between us.
